MATRIX PMO was awarded a multi-year contract by Entergy Transmission to provide project controls, project scheduling, cost analysis and project estimating resources in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. Under the terms of the multi-year contract, MATRIX will provide a range of project controls resources to support the Transmission Organization. Officials did not disclose the value, but say the contracts have optional extensions.
The Entergy transmission system is comprised of the transmission systems of Entergy's operating companies (EOCs): Entergy Arkansas, LLC; Entergy Louisiana, LLC; Entergy Mississippi, LLC; Entergy New Orleans, LLC; and Entergy Texas, Inc. The Entergy transmission system is comprised of approximately 16,100 circuit miles of transmission lines operated at 69 kV to 500 kV and approximately 1,300 substations. The transmission system spans portions of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Texas, covering 114,000 square miles. This system is regulated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and retail regulators, including the Arkansas Public Service Commission, the Louisiana Public Service Commission, the Mississippi Public Service Commission, the City Council for the City of New Orleans, and the Public Utility Commission of Texas.

MATRIX has provided project management and oversight to Entergy Nuclear since 2014. In this role, MATRIX operates as a managed task PMO implementing projects large and small at River Bend, Waterford, Grand Gulf and Arkansas Nuclear One (ANO) nuclear stations.
