MATRIX WORK READY TRAINING PROGRAM

MATRIX embarked on the development of the MATRIX Work Ready Training Program (MWRTP) in response to the rapidly shrinking talent pool that has historically been relied upon. According to a 2015 survey by the U.S. Department of Energy; 72% of energy employers reported having difficulty finding talent. This problem is exacerbated greatly by the aging out of the current workforce. According to the Department of Labor, as much as 50% of the nation's unity workforce will retire in the next 5 to 10 years. *

The MWRTP seeks to identify and develop talent pipelines that yield candidates adaptable to the work of our industry. MATRIX is actively seeking partnership with the U.S. Department of Defense Skillbridge Program. Skillbridge facilitates the placement of military veterans as they conclude their military career.

Additionally, MATRIX attained approval of our Registered Apprenticeship Program through the U.S. Department of Labor. This adds significant credibility and visibility of our program across a myriad of outlets that the Department of Labor engages in.

Currently, the MWRTP supports the Project Manager and Scheduler roles.

The program will include the roles of Cost Analyst and Field Engineer in Q4 2023.

The program is constructed in a manner to support additional roles as the need is identified.
